SUMMARY:Quilts From Caring Hands
DESCRIPTION:The primary purpose of Quilts From Caring Hands is to bring the feeling of loving comfort to at-risk children in Oregon’s Benton\, Linn and Marion counties. These include those who are homeless\, drug addicted\, visually impaired\, or abused\, and those in foster care. Our quilts are distributed through designated social service agencies. \nEach quilt we make for a child is unique. In addition to crib- and twin-sized quilts\, we also assemble tactile quilts and “cuddlers” for visually impaired children.  The finished quilts and cuddlers are given away once each quarter. \nQCH is grateful to our sponsors for their support over the years. Quilts from Caring Hands is a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  All donations are tax deductible.

DESCRIPTION:The city of Philomath’s Budget Review Committee is planning a preliminary meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday\, April 29\, at Philomath City Hall. \nMeeting Participation Instructions\nThis meeting is being held in-person at the City Hall Council Chambers\, and the public is invited to attend. Public comments and testimonies are also available via written or electronic participation. City meetings are live-streamed on the City’s YouTube channel. \nSpeaking in Person: Please fill out a Speaker Request Form on the table near the doors and give it to the City Recorder. If you have a written statement for the Committee\, please email it or provide 20 copies to the City Recorder who will distribute them to the Committee. \nSpeaking Virtually: Register to speak by contacting the City Manager’s office before 4:00 PM the day of the meeting. Email cityhall@philomathoregon.gov or call 541-929-6148 to provide your name\, phone number\, address\, email\, and topic. Presentation materials should be submitted as written testimony. \nADA Accessibility: The City will strive to accommodate for all residents. City Hall is ADA accessible meeting space.
