DESCRIPTION:In anticipation for Arbor Day\, we invite the community to join us on April 3rd\, at the Philomath Library\, as we celebrate the season of trees with a special planting ceremony. \nIn late 2025\, testing confirmed that our beloved American Elm that once stood in front of the Philomath Community Library — the first tree nominated under our Heritage Tree Program — was affected by Dutch Elm Disease. In 2026\, we said goodbye to that beautiful tree\, a loss felt by many in the community.
