DESCRIPTION:The Friends and Foundation of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library will hold its annual Holiday Book Sale on Dec. 5 and 6\, 2025\, in the main meeting room at the Corvallis Library\, 645 N.W. Monroe Ave. Hours are: Dec. 5\, donors only noon to 2 p.m.\, all welcome 2 to 6 p.m.; Dec. 6\, all welcome 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. \nItems for sale will be high quality used and new books\, suitable for gift-giving; CDs\, DVDs\, books bags\, and children’s backpacks. There will be books for all ages\, including a large selection of children’s books. All items will be individually priced. \nNew this year will be a craft activities table and refreshments. \nThere will be early entrance for those who have donated $20 or more in the past year; donations may be made at the door. All other hours will be open to everyone. Sales benefit activities and programs at all library locations: Alsea\, Corvallis\, Monroe\, and Philomath. \nFriends and Foundation of the Library always welcomes more volunteer help to transport and sell books. SUMMARY:Omelet Dinner at College United Methodist Church
DESCRIPTION:Held the first Friday of each month (excluding July and August)\, the dinner began in 1987 as a means of funding parsonage property taxes. Dinners are open to the public. The meal consists of an omelet (made while you watch) with your choice of fillings (ham\, green onion\, green peppers\, mushrooms\, cheddar and/or Jack cheese)\, homemade scones\, fresh fruit and a beverage. If you are real hungry\, sausage gravy and scones are available for purchase. Homemade desserts can be enjoyed for a donation. \nIn April\, omelets are replaced with our annual Spaghetti Dinner. The meal includes spaghetti\, bread\, salad and a beverage. Delicious\, homemade desserts will be available for a donation. (Same time\, same place — Social Hall from 5-7 PM)
