In Memoriam.

DIED—In Philomath, March 8th, 1869, of Typhoid Fever, Miss Celia A. Allen, aged 15 years, also Mr. John A. Allen, of same disease, on the 28th of March, aged 24 years, daughter and son of Rev. N.W. Allen of the United Brethren Church.

The daughter was one of the converts of the revival meeting held here in Jan. last. Br. John had been a member of the church for several years, and always gave undoubted evidence of being a true and humble follower of the meek and lovely Jesus, and although their deaths were great afflictions to the family, yet they sorrrow not as those who have no hope. Bro. Allen has himself been down with same disease for some two months, but is now improving in health, and we trust will soon be able to break the bread of life unto others again.
